Burning CDs --------------------------------------------------------------------- When burning a CD—recording data onto it—make sure to use a blank, writeable CD. You'll be able to tell if it's blank or not by looking at the back. If there's a ring on the back, data has been written onto it. Another way of checking is by simply putting it into your computer and looking at its contents.If you prefer, you can instead use a re-writeable CD; these do not have to be blank before burning data onto them. Step 1: Creating a Playlist --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Put the CD into your CD drive.2. Wait for a moment. When your computer recognizes the blank CD, a dialog box will ask which action you would like to take. You can eject the CD, ignore this box or choose from a list of actions to access the CD's data. If you would like to check if there's any data on it, you can click on one of these options and click OK.If you've already ensured that there is no data, click Ignore.3. In iTunes, click File -- New Playlist. Name this playlist whatever you would like.4. In your Music Library, select all the music you would like to put on the CD by holding Shift and clicking on each song. Click and drag over to your new playlist.
